Subject: jnos110 and mailers?
To: tcp-group%ucsd.edu@bbs.ve3rpi
I am just starting to use jnos110b, having used wnos for a few
months. I would like to use a mailer from within jnos, in a similar
way as with wnos. Wnos has a swap feature, which swaps the bulk of
the program to allow memory to be available for using a mailer. The
present compiled version of jnos110b which I am using occupies about
440kb of memory, leaving 160 kb of core memory when I start jnos. This
allows shelling to dos as well as use of utility programs such as
Norton
Commander, but there is insufficient memory to access my favorite mailer,
view.exe. Are there any techniques (or tricks) to access a mailer from
within jnos110 or shell from jnos110? (view.exe is 49kb)
Thanks for your help,
Ted, VA3TAR
